Primary Duties consist of Communication-Electronics Technician
1. Performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repair of assigned electro-optical, digital, and servo-systems equipment in accordance with established Technical Orders (TO's), instructions, procedures, and directives.
2. Inspects, calibrates, repairs, and maintains precision electro-optical, electronic, electro-mechanical, and communication equipment and computer systems.
3. Conducts complex troubleshooting, fault-isolation, and diagnostic procedures utilizing various types of TMDE along with applicable technical documentation.
4. Prepares, validates, and maintains various logs, records, and reports.
5. Communicates and coordinates effectively with others in performance of duties.
6. Conducts nightly operations of sensors and provides corrective maintenance support as necessary to ensure mission accomplishment.
7. Completes initial and monthly recurring training and maintains certification of operations positions. Completes Government and corporate ancillary training.
8. Supports the site quality, security, and environmental compliance programs.
9. Assist other Space Sensor Program sites as needed.
10. Additional duties as assigned by Site Manager.
Secondary Duties consist of back-up System Administration Support for Prototype ESSA Sidecar.
1. Performs site system administration as required in the absence of Site System Administrator on the Prototype ESSA Sidecar as specified in the ESSA GEODSS Sidecar Technical Guide and Task listing.
Required Skills and Education
Required education: High School/GED
1. Five years applicable experience as digital electronics technician.
2. Formal technical training in electronics or engineering.
3. Ability to be a self-starter.
4. Ability to work independently or as part of a group.
5. Excellent attention to detail
6. Current Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II requirements and current IA certification.
7. Fundamental UNIX/ULTRIX/LINUX System Administrator experience or training.
Preferred Skills and Education
1. Prior military experience.
2. Experience with Air Force Space Command sensor operations and maintenance or other service equivalency.
3. Experience operating and maintaining optical sensors.
4. Knowledge of the space surveillance network and satellite catalog.
5. Associates degree.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
